Rules and regulations

The following rules are in addition to the general rules:

1. All fishermen must report to the fishery office to register and obtain a fishing ticket. You must pay before starting to fish.
2. Maximum one rod per peg.
3. Barbless hooks only – max size 6.
4. Baited lines/rods must not be left unattended at any time. Fishermen who leave their pegs unattended must always remove rods from the water. If talking to other fishermen, please do not venture further than two pegs (unless using toilet facilities).
5. Toilets must be used.
6. Radios or excessive noise is not allowed.
7. Litter must be placed in the bins provided or taken home.
8. Children under the age of sixteen must be accompanied by an adult.
9. Cars must be parked on the car parks provided, not on grass verges.
10. No dogs are allowed on the fishery.
11. Open fires are not permitted.
12. Keepnets can be used only on match days.

All rules and regulations must be adhered to – no exceptions!

Fishermen are reminded that no responsibility will be accepted for any accidents or damage to persons or property.
